ICM Workshop September 2005


The September 2005 ICM Workshop was conducted by Prof. Ruben Abagyan (Faculty, The Scripps Research Institute) and Dr. Maxim Totrov (Principal Scientist, Molsoft) at Molsoft in La Jolla California. The workshop sold out very quickly and attracted participants from both the pharmaceutical industry as well as academic research institutes. All the participants agreed that the workshop will help them use ICM tools more effectively and successfully. Some of the comments from the participants included:

The workshop covered a wide range of topics in the field of computational drug design. Day one topics included:

The workshop ended with a wine and cheese reception where participants got a chance to meet and ask questions to the Molsoft Developers and Scientists. Prof. Ruben Abagyan said, "The ICM Workshop provides a great opportunity to meet, teach and answer questions from ICM users. I would like to thank all the participants for attending, and I hope this workshop will enable them to achieve great success with their future research."
