You can save surfaces in the Wavefront *.obj format for 3D printing. To do this:

• Make a mesh e.g. go to the meshes tab - plain solid.
• The mesh (surface) will then be displayed in the ICM workspace (left hand side).
• Right click on the mesh and choose Save as.. and choose Wavefront format from the format option list.

It will produce two files:

• .obj file with share and color reference information
• .mtl file with color dictionary
